ABOUT BEAUTY OASIS RX

Beauty Oasis was born from the passion, persistence, and purpose of Ida Moncada, a licensed esthetician since 2009 and certified laser technician since 2023. For the past 15 years, Ida has worked closely with Dr. Victoria McGrath in Allen, Texas, combining clinical expertise with a personalized, heartfelt approach to skincare. Ida’s love for skincare began humbly—mixing lotions, body washes, and face creams in her front room. Her curiosity and dedication led her to esthetics school, where she graduated and was selected to intern at Metroplex Hospital with Anna Dee, a global trainer and contributing author of Medical Aesthetics Clinical, the first book of its kind in paramedical aesthetics. In a 2009 interview with Day Spa magazine, Ida was asked why she chose the beauty industry. Her answer was simple: “I just love to make people feel good.” That sentiment remains the foundation of everything she does at Beauty Oasis.

In 2013, Ida’s journey took a challenging turn—she was diagnosed with cancer after years of unexplained illness, hair loss, and weight changes. After finally getting answers, her surgeon asked her what she had always dreamed of doing. Without hesitation, she said, “I’ve always wanted to be a beekeeper.” When she told him she had no land, he laughed and said, “Well, go find the land!” Inspired by that moment, she did just that.

Today, Ida balances her two great loves—helping people through skincare and beekeeping, which gives her peace, hope, and a deep connection to nature. She often has to turn down requests from people wanting her to place bees on their land due to high demand.

Her clients trust her not only for her knowledge but for her honesty, integrity, and genuine care. She understands that the skin is the largest organ of the body and that our overall health is reflected through it. Ida is highly experienced with various skin conditions and knows how to identify and treat the triggers behind problematic skin. Her specialty is acne, and she finds deep fulfillment in helping her clients transform their skin and regain confidence.
